Rihanna wore oversize sunglasses with deep lips at Paris Fashion Week

We spotted Rihanna at Paris Fashion Week wearing purple, this autumn's hot lip shade.

Maybelline New York's celebrity make-up artist Fiona Jolly says: ‘Purple was the dominant shade at the autumn/winter 2009 catwalk shows but in order to pull off this look you need very white teeth as it can make your teeth look yellow.'

If you have fair skin, go for a subtler plum-purple shade that has more pinky tones, which will help to brighten up your skin.

For olive skin, you can experiment with a plum that has a
