When Jordan invited boyfriend Alex Reid and also ex Dane Bowers to her New Year's Eve fancy dress party, she hoped the pair would bond.

But the guys - who are both rumoured to be contestants in this year's Celebrity Big Brother - are reported to have fallen out.

Alex, 34, claims Dane banged on the bedroom door when he and Jordan had gone to bed at 5am.

'I said, "Why did you bang on our door?" and he said, "I didn't do it,"' Alex explains, reports the News Of The World. 'I said, "You did because I opened the door and you were banging on it".

'Then he started lairing up with somebody else and I told him to f*** off.'

Things are then alleged to have got out of hand, with Dane, 30 - who Jordan, 31, dated in 2000 - reportedly now sporting a black eye.

Their agents have since issued a joint statement.

'Both enjoyed the party until approximately 5am when Dane went outside to see if his cab had arrived and two unknown men assaulted him,' it reads. 'He was then helped into his cab by people there.'
