Peter Andre: It would devastate my family to never see Harvey again

Singer is confused by Jordan’s comments

Peter Andre's divorce from Jordan was finalised last week

Peter Andre says it would upset his family if they lost touch with step-son Harvey.

Jordan, 31, declared last week that the singer’s family in Australia were unlikely to see the 7-year-old again now the pair are divorced.

‘I don’t really understand what she’s talking about,’ Peter says. ‘Maybe she said it because I probably won’t take Harvey on a long trip to Australia.

‘But my family are over here all the time so of course they’ll see him!’

Despite not being his biological father, Peter and his family became very close to Harvey during his marriage to Jordan.

‘They love Harvey so much and it would devastate them if they weren’t allowed to see him,’ he writes in his magazine column. ‘With Kate at the moment, it really is a case of, “What’s she going to say next?”

‘Nothing surprises me now.’
