Sugababes' family report her missing

Amelle Berrabah is safe

Amelle Berrabah sparked fears for her safety when she disappeared this week after a rumoured bust-up with bandmate Keisha Buchanan.

The Sugababes star's family reported her missing on Wednesday because they feared she'd been kidnapped.

Fortunately, Amelle, 25, was safe and well and oblivious to all the fuss when 2 officers from Aldershot CID visited her home yesterday.

‘The procedure of a missing person report means officers have to physically see someone to confirm they are OK, they can’t just talk over the phone,’ a police spokesman tells the Daily Mirror.

Amelle had missed a series of gigs – on Tuesday Keisha, 24, and Heidi Range, 26, even resorted to inviting a fan to join them on stage at London’s Movida.
 
Sister Zakiya insists that Amelle has now reassured her that she was just lying low because she was suffering from tonsillitis.
