Chris Brown faces up to four years behind bars if convicted

A court has refused to delay Chris Brown's hearing on 22 June.

The singer’s lawyer Mark Geragos had requested it be postponed so he could gain access to police records.

Chris, 19, has pleaded not guilty to assaulting and making criminal threats to ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

The hearing at the California Supreme Court will determine if there's enough evidence for the case to go to trial.

Meanwhile, Rihanna, 21, is being sued by her Hollywood neighbour Christian Moeller over claims his privacy has been invaded.

He says cars used by the star are routinely parked on his property.
