Her money troubles are so bad shes surviving on free beef curries

While Kerry Katona’s profile’s higher than ever thanks to her new MTV show Kerry Katona: What’s The Problem?, Now can reveal that she and husband Mark Croft are still broke.
The hard-up star has even been ranting at Iceland bosses when her weekly food parcels - including her favourite beef curry, with half rice and half chips - fail to arrive.
‘Kerry’s been kicking off because Iceland keep forgetting to drop off her £100-a-week free shop,’ says a well-placed source.
‘She’s furious. She claims she can’t just go to the supermarket because she’ll get mobbed. But the real reason is that she and Mark are skint.’
Recently, Kerry, 28, has been doing deals with the paparazzi that have earnt her £5,000 a time, as well as lucrative interviews on top of her £250,000 Iceland deal.
Photos of her in a silver bikini fetched £15,000 alone. The problem is that Kerry’s had to put all the money towards paying off her bankruptcy and her next tax bill is £500,000, so it’s all just being swallowed up.
In the latest episode of her reality TV show, viewers have already seen Kerry in tears. As her marriage unravelled in March, the cameras were there to capture her turmoil.
She sobbed as she accused Mark, 38, of frittering away her money, saying: ‘I need to get a lawyer. He sold shares worth £25,000 and didn’t tell me. If he wants money, he just has to ask.’
The pair have since patched up their differences, although they’re reportedly still arguing. ‘She and Mark are rowing about money all the time, among other things,’ says our source. ‘And she spends a lot of time in her room, out drinking or depressed. Things aren’t good.’
