Singer is househunting in St Lucia

Amy Winehouse is getting ready to move to the Caribbean

Amy Winehouse is planning to buy a house in the Caribbean.

The singer has been on an extended holiday in St Lucia since just before Christmas and is battling her cocaine and heroin addiction on the island.

‘Being away has helped her in her fight against drugs,’ a friend tells The Sun.

Amy, 25, is also looking at properties in Hadley Wood, North London.

‘Her family think the best way to keep her out of trouble to have a house in the suburbs and a place in the Caribbean,’ adds the pal
