Tom Chambers postponed his his honeymoon to dance on Strictly

Appearing on Strictly Come Dancing was a thrill for winner Tom Chambers. He (nimbly) leapt at the chance.

'I’d have been a fool to turn it down as millions of people would love to be on it,' he says. 'It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. I’ve always dreamt about being in Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly films.'

Tom, 31, has filmed his final scenes for Holby City so is now open to offers.

'I’d love to go into a West End show and I’d kill for the chance to be Doctor Who,' he admits. 'I’ve also got a film I’ve been working on. It’s a cross between Forrest Gump, Billy Elliot and Singin’ In The Rain – without the singing!'

And he wouldn't mind a taste of Hollywood…

'Yes, as a learning exercise,' he explains, 'but ultimately I want to make British films.'
