Dannii Minogue: Britney Spears meeting was 'hysterical'

The X Factor star says judges were lined up like naughty schoolchildren

Dannii Minogue was upset Britney Spears left without meeting The X Factor contestants

Dannii Minogue has likened meeting Britney Spears to being summoned to see the head teacher.

The judge met the singer when she performed on The X Factor in November.

But Dannii, 37, found making her way through 27-year-old Brit's entourage an eye-opening experience.

‘It was hysterical,’ she says. ‘We were all like little kids at the principal’s office.

'There were so many security guards and PR people and they had to block the whole corridor before she could come out.’

Meanwhile, Louis Walsh, 56, says his nasty jibes onscreen towards Dannii were just part of their TV banter.

‘Honestly, we are better friends,’ he tells Metro. ‘There’s chemistry with us now. We only had one little row in the whole series.

'Sometimes I’ve been nasty to her but it’s part of the show.’
