Melanie Sykes: I don't want another child

TV host has her hands full with two boys

Melanie Sykes insists she has no desire to try for a baby girl one day.

The TV presenter, who has split from husband Daniel Caltagirone, is more than happy with two sons.

‘I don’t want another child,’ she says. ‘I’m lucky with two boys and that’s all I need. I’ve got it pretty easy now to a degree.

'I mean, they’re little tyrants and they run around like nutters but the whole baby thing – I couldn’t do it again.

‘At my age, to have a baby now would be exhausting. I really don’t think I’d be able to do it.’

But Melanie, 38, loves being a mum to Roman, 6, and Valentino, 4.

‘Oh my god, they’re amazing,’ she says. ‘They’re just so beautiful.’
