The X Factor winner expected to top charts with Run

Leona Lewis performed Run on The X Factor two weeks ago

Leona Lewis will release her version of Snow Patrol hit Run as a single after all.

The cover features on The X Factor 2006 winner's repackaged album Spirit.

And fans were furious when music label Sony decided not to sell the track separately.

But now they’ve made a U-turn and the single will be available to download from Sunday.

‘The decision not to release the track caused a huge amount of negative feedback,’ a source tells The Sun.

‘Chiefs were stunned by the reaction. They’ve finally seen sense and bowed to pressure.’

Leona, 23, is currently at the top of the album chart with Spirit.
