Friends star looks her best ever as she moves on from break-up with John Mayer

Jennifer Aniston is hoping to land more serious film roles

Jennifer Aniston is said to be fed up with everyone talking about her love life instead of her film roles, so she's hatched a plan to turn her image around.

Since her split with musician John Mayer, 30, she's lined up meetings with Hollywood high-rollers in a bid to land the edgier parts she wants.

‘It’s all about her career now,’ a friend tells Now. 'Jen’s realised if people are commenting on how hot she looks, they aren’t feeling sorry for her.'

She's rumoured to have met Woody Allen last month, sparking rumours she could appear in one of his films.

‘It would be a great move because Woody is a respected cult figure and being in his films did wonders for the likes of Scarlett Johansson,’ the insider says.

‘Jen’s a proven comedy actress but she’s never really managed to get out of the romcom bracket. And at 39 time is running out.

'All people ever talk about is Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn and now John Mayer and how unlucky Jen is in love. Who remembers the last big movie she was in?’
