Jonathan Ross to star in Celebrity Apprentice

TV presenter to face Sir Alan Sugar for charity

Jonathan Ross will be teamed with Alan Carr and Johnny Vegas

Jonathan Ross has signed up to appear in Celebrity Apprentice.

The TV presenter, 47, will be teamed with Alan Carr, 32 and Johnny Vegas, 36, to take on the girls for the Comic Relief special.

‘Jonathan is the king of the crafty put-down, but can he handle Sir Alan?’ a source tells The Sun.

‘Obviously he has a bulging contacts book of star names he can call on to help.

'But whether or not he will be as good at sweet-talking Sir Alan as he is them remains to be seen.’

Jonathan and the boys will compete with the unnamed females to arrange a star-studded charity night.

The show will air in March 2009.
