Former Power Rangers star Skylar Deleon will face trial in August

Former Power Rangers star Skylar Deleon was rushed to hospital after attempting to dismember his penis.

The actor performed the surgery at Orange County Jail where he's awaiting trial over the murder of a couple at sea in 2004.

He starred in the hit children’s TV show in the mid-1990s.

‘Somehow he got hold of a razor blade and tried to saw off his penis, but didn’t complete the job,’ a prison spokesman tells The Sun.

Doctors have now reattached 29-year-old Skylar’s willy.

Tom Hawks 57, and wife Jackie, 47, went missing in November 2004 and their bodies have never been found.

Skylar's trial is set for 25 August.
