Tina O’Brien: I'll never marry Ryan Thomas

Ex-Corrie star says getting wed on soap put her off

Tina O’Brien has vowed to never marry boyfriend Ryan Thomas, who plays her on-screen husband Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street.

The former soap star, who played Sarah Platt in the show for 9 years, says that getting hitched on screen has put her off the idea.

‘I would never get married now. I’ve done it twice on Corrie and that’s enough!’ she says. ‘I’m happy with the way my life is and I don’t want to change anything.

‘I’m not anti-marriage, but it is a big thing and I’d want to wait a while before committing to it.

'I love Ryan to bits, but we're very young. We don’t know what's going to happen.’

Tina, 24, has been dating Ryan, 23, for 5 years.
