Max Beesley’s mum visits him from grave

Hotel Babylon star claims he had a supernatural scare on holiday

Max Beesley has revealed the spirit of his dead mum visited him just after her death in 1999.

The actor was staying at a luxurious resort in the Caribbean when the incident happened.

‘Just after my mum died I was staying at a place in Barbados feeling extremely unhappy,’ admits Max. ‘I was desperate to know if she was still around. So I said, “Let me know if you’re there”.

‘The lights in the place went off then slowly came back on again, and then did exactly the same thing – off quickly, on very slowly.’

The actor, 37, said this happened several times and he knew it was his mum visiting him.

‘It freaked me out,' he tells the Daily Record, 'but it was comforting too.'
