Actress disappointed after failing to pick up award

Sienna Miller had good reason to be upset at losing out on a Bafta on Sunday night – she'd been practising her acceptance speech for days.

The actress was seen as a front-runner for the Orange Rising Star Award for her roles in Factory Girl and Stardust. But the award went to Transformers star Shia LaBeouf.

Sienna, 26, and boyfriend Rhys Ifans, 39, are said to have rehearsed some witty one-liners for her to deliver if she won.

'Rhys is naturally very funny and helped Sienna come up with an amusing acceptance speech,' says a pal.

'Sienna hoped the award would make people sit up and take notice of her acting talents,' the source tells the Daily Express. 'Rhys reckoned it would have been the best speech of the night if she'd won.'
