Daniel Radcliffe wants Coronation Street role

Harry Potter star reckons he'd have a laugh

Daniel Radcliffe wants to hang out in the Rovers Return.

The Harry Potter star, 18, is a Coronation Street fan and can see himself in the Manchester-based soap.

‘I love Corrie,’ he says. ‘Being in that would be fun.’

As Dan's currently filming the 6th film in the Harry Potter franchise, it'll be a while until he's free to join the cast.

In the meantime, Corrie bosses are keen for him to star in a cameo role.

‘We would love to have him,’ a Street spokesperson tells The Sun.

Dan wouldn't be the first celeb to appear on Corrie. Sir Ian McKellan featured in several episodes and comedian Peter Kay played Shelly Unwin's mismatched date in 2004.
