1. It looks like Carrie finally gets Mr Big up the aisle. Last week, cast and crew were filming in a New York cathedral, where SJP was snapped in a Zac Posen wedding dress.

2. Hottest goss of the lot is that Charlotte isn’t the only one up the duff. The word is that Carrie gets pregnant, too.

3. Auction house Christie’s opened its doors for a 19-hour shoot with the cast. The cast and the crew, who started at 7am, had to film twice the usual number of scenes and didn’t stop until midnight.

4. Producers have scrapped plans for SJP and Chris Noth (Mr Big) to sing the film’s theme tune.

5. Carrie’s wardrobe budget is over £500,000. There’s been instant demand for her Eiffel Tower bag and designers Richie Rich and Traver Rains insist that the clothes will be edgier than ever.

6. Oscar-winning new recruit Jennifer Hudson, who’ll play Carrie’s assistant, has already shot a number of scenes around Manhattan.
