Pop star's car doused at Starbucks

This weekend saw no calming down in Britney Spears' world as her car was sprayed with coffee as she tried to make a get away from paparazzi.

Britney, 25, and music producer pal Jonathan 'JR' Rotem, 32, had stopped off at Starbucks, but the paparazzi were blocking her car from leaving the car park.

A distraught female onlooker - attempting to come to Britney’s aid - hurled abuse at the photographers and shouted at them to: 'Let her drive.'

When that didn’t work she tossed a cup of coffee at the cameramen - and Britney’s white Mercedes was caught in the crossfire.

Shocked Britney looked on in dismay while the paps shouted: ‘That's assault,' as well as obscenities at the woman.
