SEE VIDEO: Stars turn out for The Simpsons Movie premiere

They roll up on special yellow carpet at the O2 centre

The stars flocked to the O2 Arena last night for the UK premiere of The Simpsons Movie.

The former-Millennium Dome was transformed into a mini Springfield – complete with yellow carpet and an entrance modelled to look like Homer’s mouth.

Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, Gail Porter, actor Joshua Jackson, comedian Vic Reeves and wife Nancy Sorrell, and pop band McFly were just some of the celebs rolling into town.

The McFly boys - including Danny Jones, 21, and Tom Fletcher, 22, pictured - got into the spirit by donning balloon wigs to look like their favourite characters.

Meanwhile, Lady Isabella Hervey was the only celebrity to adhere to the yellow dress code.

And chat show hosts Richard, 51, and wife Judy, 59, even had their own Simpsons-esque cartoon cardboard cutouts.

‘We are huge fans, we watch it literally every night,’ Richard tells the Daily Mail.
