Alex Curran: I spent £1,000 on a handbag

The Liverpool WAG enjoys treating herself

WAG Alex Curran, 24, loves the lifestyle she enjoys as wife of footie star Steven Gerrard.

And she's not afraid to splash a bit of cash. On her last trip to the shops she came home with a little treat.

'I bought a Fendi Spy evening bag. It had pearls on it and was lovely. It was £1,000,' she admits. 'I did feel a bit bad spending that much, for about five seconds...'

Another guilty pleasure is a lot cheaper - chocolate.

'I love Galaxy bars,' Alex tells the Sunday Mirror. 'If I ever have chocolate in my house, I can’t rest until I’ve had the whole packet.'

Alex and Steve, who married in June, have two daughters - Lilly-Ella, 2, and 1-year-old Lexie.

'Steven says he can’t believe he’s living with three girls,' she laughs, 'but I know he loves it really.'
