Ben Ellis won't be Joseph

The 18-year-old is kicked out in semi-final

Ben Ellis

Andrew Lloyd Webber sent Ben Ellis home last night in the semi-final of BBC talent show Any Dream Will Do.

Ben said he thought he'd bring 'a sense of youth, truth and energy to the part' but it wasn't to be.

Lewis Bradley was in the final sing-off with Ben, 18, after the pair got the lowest votes from viewers.

Lewis, Keith Jack and Lee Mead are the three hopefuls who will now go forward to the final to win the lead role in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

In rival ITV1 show Grease Is The Word, Susan McFadden and Michelle Antrobus reached the Grease Is The Word final and will join Anthony Kavanagh and Danny Bayne.
