Jonathan Rhys Meyers goes into rehab

Actor is latest to enter clinic

It's one in, one out of rehab at the moment.

Britney Spears has finished her stint but now actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers has decided he needs a little professional help.

'After a non-stop succession of filming, Jonathan Rhys Meyers has entered an alcohol-treatment program,' says his rep, Meredith O'Sullivan.

'He felt a break was needed to maintain his recovery. He plans to resume his schedule following completion.'

The 29-year-old has been working flat out for the last couple of years. As well as appearing alongside Scarlett Johansson in Match Point last year, he recently finished filming the drama August Rush and is playing Henry VIII in TV series The Tudors.
