Amanda Holden: Simon Cowell 'hates kids'

Actress calls Simon the Child Catcher

Just in case you thought Simon Cowell was secretly a really nice guy, here's a wake-up call.

The notorious X Factor star, who often reduces contestants to tears, also happens to dislike small children.

Amanda Holden, who's a fellow judge on new show Britain's Got Talent, claims Simon's nickname on set is Child Catcher - after the evil villain in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

'He just doesn't like children,' the 35-year-old told The Sun. 'When they come on you can see he isn't interested. I would not bring my daughter to work.'
