Celebrity Big Brother 2007 gets underway

'H' from Steps and Leo Sayer are among the 11 housemates

Celebrity Big Brother got underway last night, and what a motley crew the housemates are.

Danielle Lloyd - footballer Teddy Sheringham's girlfriend - and Jermaine Jackson were the first two celebs through the doors.

Joining them were A-Team actor Dirk Benedict, S Club 7 star Jo O'Meara, Ian 'H' from Steps Watkins, comedian Cleo Rocos, director Ken Russell, Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty, columnist Carole Malone, Towers Of London rocker Donny Tourette and singer Leo Sayer.

It didn't take long for the usual antics to kick off - Danielle and Shilpa were both booed, Jermaine revealed brother Michael would be watching at home and security stepped in when Donny refused to go in the House.

Leo, 58, Dirk, 61, and Ian, 30, have been tipped by bookmakers William Hill as first and joint-second favourites to win.
