Jude Law: I'm skint

Actor says divorce cleaned him out

His hit films include Cold Mountain and The Holiday. But it seems Jude Law is still broke.

The 33-year-old says the financial demands of his ex-wife Sadie Frost has left him penniless.

'My bank account is therefore almost always empty,' he tells French magazine Gala. 'I'm not Brad Pitt. I don't earn $20 million a film.

'I lost everything in order to get the right to visit my children. But I don't have a single regret.'

Sadie, who claimed she gave up a promising acting career to be a mother, kept the couple's £2m north London house.

In last year's divorce settlement, she was thought to have got a 4m payout and £15,000 a month.
