Christina Aguilera: Marriage isn't perfect

But singer says she won't be following Britney down the divorce route

Christina Aguilera has revealed that she finds married life difficult.

The 25-year-old star – who wed executive Jordan Bratman last November – admits it's hard work.

'You are surprised and disappointed by certain things in your first year,' she says. 'I think the biggest misconception is that everything is going to be perfect and nothing will go wrong.'

Even though the honeymoon glow has dimmed for the Dirrty singer, she insists she won’t be following in the footsteps of rival pop princess Britney Spears and filing for divorce.

'We have a strong bond,' she tells The Sun. 'I'm prepared to grow old with this man. We look forward to the ups and downs.'

To prove her love for Jordan, Christina has dedicated new album track Save Me From Myself to him.

'He's helped me heal a lot,' she admits. 'The song really just means having that one person in your life who's able to pick you up and pull you out when you get in those dark spaces in yourself and are dwelling on the negative.

'They get you to look at all the bright and beautiful things around you.'
