Kate Moss’ big win

Model clocks up 30m since drug shame

Kate Moss

Many had predicted that Kate Moss’s career would crumble after pictures were published in a national newspaper showing her allegedly taking cocaine last September.

But it’s estimated that the model, 32, will make a whopping £30 million in the year since she was accused of snorting the Class-A drug.

Initially, a number of fashion houses decided not to renew their contracts with her including Burberry and H&M.

However police dropped their investigation in June and Kate now boasts 18 lucrative contracts, including autumn/winter campaigns for Calvin Klein and Chanel.

‘We like Kate because there’s an air of danger about here,’ says French Vogue artistic director Fabien Baron. ‘We weren’t going to throw the rocks at her just because she got into some trouble.’
