After being cruelly branded 'fake' following her appearance on The Voice - which she recorded months before her stint on Britain's Got Talent - Alice Fredenham is ready to dust herself down and start all over again.
Here, in a Now exclusive, she reveals why she looked so different for the rival shows' auditions.
'The Voice was my first TV audition, so I wanted to dress up, but maybe I tried too hard,' she tells us.
'I felt silly getting tarted up when none of the judges picked me - all dressed up with nowhere to go.'
Alice decided to wear jeans and trainers for Britain's Got Talent.
'After The Voice audition I felt really depressed for a while,' the 28-year-old admits.
'So when I auditioned for BGT, I dressed to reflect how I felt: a little unsure of myself and scared.
'I didn't want it to be a big deal like last time.
'I'm not fake.'
