Darcey Bussell had an amazing career as a prima ballerina, but her success came at great personal cost.
She had to give up tennis and skiing to ensure she stayed 100% fit - and becoming a mum was tough.
'You live in constant fear of injury,' says Darcey, 43, who's married to Australian financier Angus Forbes and mum to Phoebe, 11, and Zoe, 8.
'I didn't dare pick up my daughters when they were small because of the risk of straining a back muscle.'
Darcey is now enjoying a more relaxed pace after quitting ballet and becoming a judge on Strictly Come Dancing, but she remembers how difficult it was to cuddle her children when she was still on stage.
'I would sit on the floor and they would have to come to me if they wanted a hug,' Darcey tells You.
'I never believed I would still be dancing after having Zoe, but in the end she was 3 when I stopped.'
