Prince William's stepmother Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall has promised to cheer on Kimberley Walsh when she competes on Strictly Come Dancing
The Girls Aloud singer made friends with Camilla at Clarence House last week as they honoured people who've worked for Diamond Champions, encouraging people to volunteer for age awareness charity WRVS.
'Afternoon tea with the Duchess of Cornwall at Clarence House then off to my first dance lesson!' Tweeted Kimberley, 30.
'Ooh, Charles was there too! Camilla said she'll vote for me on Strictly! Ha! Right time to get my dancing shoes on!'
Kimberley later told her Twitter followers that she was 'still smiling' after her first day of rehearsals with dance partner Pasha Kovalev.
