Alesha Dixon will not be back on Strictly 2012

Alesha Dixon won Strictly Come Dancing in 2007 - and joined the judging panel in 2009 when choreographer Arlene Phillips got the boot.

But now Alesha is making her own exit because she's been snapped up for Britain's Got Talent.

The former Mis-Teeq star is saying goobye to Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli to join Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Amanda Holden on BGT 2012.

'After three incredible years on the Strictly Come Dancing judging panel I have decided that it is time to move on,' Alesha, 32, explains on her website.

'Strictly Come Dancing will always hold a special place in my heart as it has been such an amazing experience, both as a winning competitor and as a judge.

'I would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in the show, the production team, my fellow judges, and a very special thank you to the fans for their support.'

We'd like to see Arlene, 68, back on Strictly and Bruno would love to see Pippa Middleton taking part as a contestant. He's sure she'd be sensational.

But he enjoys the novelty acts, too.

'John Sergeant - that was beyond vomit!' he told us recently.

'And also the magnificently terrible Ann Widdecombe, who came out looking like a Dalek in drag.
They were classics.'
