Lauren Goodger: You never know, Mark Wright and I might get back together
Lauren, 24, has a size 10 figure but on one occasion when she worried that her hips looked too big, fitness fanatic Mark, 24, told her: ‘That's because your hips are big at the minute.'
At other times, when she felt body confident and tried to show off her figure, Mark didn't like it.
‘There was a scene in the show where I was trying on a purple Julien Macdonald dress in Debenhams,' she explains.
‘It was a short dress, clingy, really lovely and sexy. I bought it but Mark never let me wear it.
'He was jealous of how I would sometimes look when I went out.
'Men can get really jealous. It wasn't always easy.
'So yeah, I dumped him - well actually it was mutual. I just had to move out of our flat.'
As we've seen at various times in the show, Lauren's always held out hope of a reunion every time her and Mark went their separate ways.
In the first series she continued to see him, despite knowing he was dating Lucy Mecklenburgh, 19, and Sam Faiers, 20.
And in the second series she agreed to marry him in front of the cameras in one of the most unromantic proposals ever - after she said yes to him, Mark then went off with his friends!
And, surprise, this time's no different: Lauren isn't ready to completely give up on their relationship just yet.
She says: ‘You never know, we might get back together.
'I still had my ring on until his manager put out a statement, so now I don't wear it.'
Sadly it looks like Lauren may be setting herself up for another fall.
Last Wednesday she looked sensational when she attended the MOBO nominations launch party in London.
But when Mark later Tweeted that he was on his way to Aura nightclub, she and her friend Lauren Pope made an ill-advised decision to show up there too.
Determined to pretend nothing was amiss, she stood just feet away from the table area where Mark was sitting in order for him to see her.
But it took a while before she was acknowledged, so she kept disappearing into the toilets to reapply her make-up.
Now's spies saw the heartbroken couple speaking briefly before moving to different corners of the club.
Then shortly afterwards, at 11.30pm, security staff told Lauren to leave the party.
Mark, however, stayed on and finally left shortly after 3am.
The following day he was forced to deny that Lauren was asked to leave Aura at his request, despite club sources claiming otherwise.
While we have the most sympathy for Lauren over the break-up, Mark has a different tale to tell.
Look away now, Lauren...
