Ryan Dunn died along with an as yet unidentified passenger

Jackass stuntman Ryan Dunn has died in a car crash near Philadelphia.

The MTV star's 2007 Porsche went over a rail and hit a tree before catching fire at around 3.30am yesterday morning. No other vehicles were involved.

Ryan's death was confirmed when co-star Bam Margera phoned a radio show to say his friend had been killed.

Just hours earlier Ryan, 34 - famed for his dangerous stunts and trademark beard - had Tweeted a photo of himself on a night out with friends. 

'Today I lost my brother Ryan Dunn. My heart goes out to his family and his beloved Angie. RIP Ryan , I love you buddy,' Ryan's fellow Jackasser Johnny Knoxville wrote on Twitter last night.
