The contestants were asked by Lord Alan Sugar to come up with a new magazine project and the two teams devised a lads' mag called Covered and a publication for the over 60s which they named Hip Replacement.
After failing to attract enough advertising revenue because they did not discount the rate card fast enough, Glenn and Team Venture lost the task.
The 28-year-old design engineer got fired after ending up in the up boardroom with project manager Jim Eastwood and colleague Susan Ma.
But Glenn is a winner in love. Since filming ended, Zoe Beresford, 26, and Glenn have gone public with their romance.
'The moment they set eyes on each other it was obvious there was something there,' a source tells the Daily Mirror.
'They kept a lid on things for as long as they could, because they were desperate to do well and because Zoe had a boyfriend.
'But when filming finished they couldn't deny their feelings and they got together.'
