Jonathan Ross: I'm happy my daughter is gay
Jonathan Ross has revealed that his eldest daughter Betty Kitten is gay - and he couldn't be happier for her.
The TV host was asked by a caller on Gaydar Radio how he'd react if one of his daughters came home with a woman.
'Well, my eldest daughter is gay so that's a question I've dealt with on a regular basis already,' replied Jonathan, 50.
'And providing it's a nice woman, I'm thrilled.
'I think that's pretty much out there, she talks about [her sexuality] on her Twitter feed.
'As any dad really, I love my kids regardless of who they are, what they do.
'Certainly, their sexuality is a) none of my business and b), certainly none of my concern.
'I just want them to be good, happy, stable people and so far, all three of them seem to be that.'
Jonathan and his wife Jane
Goldman, 40, live in a multi-million pound London home with
19-year-old Betty Kitten and their two other children, Harvey Kirby, 16
and Honey Kinney, 13.
In May 2009, Ross was branded 'homophobic' following a gay joke on his BBC Radio 2 show.
'Am mortified to hear some people thought I was being homophobic on radio show,' he Tweeted after the joke received 61 complaints.
'Nothing could be further from truth, as I'm sure most know.'
