Coronation Street star Anne Kirkbride collapsed during a photo shoot to celebrate the soap's 50th anniversary this week.
The actress, 56, wilted in the heat, says a show spokeswoman.
Anne, who plays Deirdre Barlow, was revived with some cold water.
'It was a bit of a shock to see her in that way,' a source tells the Daily Mirror.
