Scott Maslen has been dating Estelle Rubio for over 9 years

Scott Maslen has finally asked his long-term girlfriend Estelle Rubio to marry him.

The EastEnders star – who plays Jack Branning in the BBC soap – has been with Estelle for 9 years.

But he says he was worried about rushing into a serious relationship.

‘We were both wary of marriage because we come from broken families,’ he tells Hello!

‘But finally everything seems to be coming together. We have a fantastic son, have moved into our dream home and our careers are going well. And, most importantly, after 9 years we are still madly in love.’

Scott, 37, and Estelle, 33, have 7-year-old son Zak.
