The queen of pop launches sunglasses line with Italian design duo

Madonna has launched a range of designer sunglasses for Dolce & Gabbana

Not content with being the most famous pop legend on the planet, Madonna's now diversified into fashion design.

The queen of pop has just launched a line of luxury eyewear with Italian fashion powerhouse Dolce & Gabbana called MDG.

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana reveal, 'Designing an eyewear line with Madonna was a new experience for us.

'The oversized and wraparound designs are sexy and very feminine, like our clothes.

'Madonna's creative contribution and unique point of view were key, even in designing the MDG logo.'

And living up to her Material Girl name, Madonna's also working on a fashion range with her daughter Lourdes.
