Cheryl Cole's X Factor performance was the most hyped of the year and she didn't disappoint, with Simon Cowell even describing her rendition of debut solo single Fight For This Love as ‘incredible'.

Simon wasn't the only one backing Cheryl. Husband Ashley Cole and Girls Aloud's Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts were there, too.

But why didn't Nadine Coyle make the trip from LA to support her bandmate? Could it be a sign of the growing rivalry between the pair?

It's well known that Nadine has the best voice in the group and she's totally focused on making it as a solo artist.

‘Nadine's already received rave reviews for her guest vocals on a new Boyz II Men track, a remake of Take That's Back For Good,' says our source.

‘Meanwhile, after her performance Cheryl, 26, felt like she was in a daze, saying: ‘It feels like a blur - it took me back to Popstars: The Rivals.'
