Cameraman claims his tripod was thrown in sea

Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z had been holdaying in Croatia

Croatian police are investigating claims one of Beyoncé Knowles’ security guards destroyed a photographer’s equipment.

The singer, 27, and her husband Jay-Z were in Dubrovnik on Wednesday when a group of paparazzi filmed them as they boarded a speedboat.

In the video, the minder is allegedly seen throwing Dragan Banovic’s tripod into the sea.

And Jay-Z, 39, can apparently be heard trying to calm down the man.

Police spokesperson Marija Genero has confirmed local authorities are investigating.

Jay-Z's UK reps declined to comment.
