A music video directed by the late Heath Ledger is due to debut online today.
The actor was working on the King Rat promo for US band Modest Mouse when he died in January 2008.
The animated clip has now been completed by a video company in which Heath had been a partner, and will premiere on MySpace Music.
‘Heath and I have a mutual friend and when we were in Australia, some of us went out on a boat with him and talked about the idea,’ Modest Mouse frontman Isaac Brock told VH1.
‘The idea sort of dropped, but then he just sent me an email saying that he wanted to do it.’
Heath’s film has been designed to raise awareness of commercial whaling off the coast of Australia.
Proceeds from downloads of the video on the US iTunes store during the first month will go to the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.
