Bodyguard sues Britney Spears

Star claimed to have been negligent

Britney Spears is facing a lawsuit

A former bodyguard of Britney Spears sued the pop star and a security company for personal injury, court papers filed Monday in Los Angeles reveal.

The lawsuit, which gives little detail, claims the singer "negligently operated her home and business thereby causing injuries" to Kerry Vine, who worked for Spears and Advanced Security Concepts.

Vine further claims that Spears, 27, and the security company "caused [him] harmful or offensive contact without his consent." His injuries were not described in the lawsuit.

Lawyers for both sides weren't immediately available for comment.
