The nominees for the BAFTA Orange Rising Star Award have been announced.
Superbad's Michael Cera, AdULTHOOD, actor Noel Clarke and RocknRolla star Toby Kebbell have made the shortlist.
Rebecca Hall, who appears in Woody Allen film Vicky Cristina Barcelona, and Michael Fassbender – who won critical acclaim with his role in indie film Hunger, also got nods.
‘The award recognises five international actors and actresses who have demonstrated exceptional talent and have begun to capture the imagination of the public as a star in the making,’ says a BAFTA spokesperson.
Previous winner Shia LaBeouf announced the nominees for the award, which has been given to James McAvoy and Eva Green in the past.
It is the only gong at the February 8 ceremony that is decided by the public.
