Ronnie Wood 'buys £13k Jimi Hendrix guitar for Ekaterina Ivanova'

Ronnie Wood and Ekaterina Ivanova now live together in London

Ronnie Wood has apparently splashed out on a vintage guitar played by Jimi Hendrix for his girlfriend.

The Rolling Stone, who paid a reported £13,000 for the instrument, is giving Russian waitress Ekaterina Ivanova music lessons.  

‘She fell in love with the guitar before Christmas but rather than buying it while she was with him, Ronnie wanted to wait and surprise her,’ a source tells The Sun.

‘He loves to treat her with gifts and tokens of his affection.’

Ronnie, 61, is even thought to have had his and Ekaterina’s initials inscribed on the instrument alongside a personal message.

The veteran rocker left wife Jo, 52, in the summer.
