Katherine Jenkins says she won’t fly on a plane without a surgical mask.  

‘You feel daft but it stops me catching any bugs,’ she explains.

And Katherine, 28, still gets recognised, despite half her face being obscured.

‘On a recent flight from Dubai, the man next to me woke me up in the middle of the night to ask if he could have his picture taken with me,’ she tells the Sunday Express. ‘I couldn’t believe it.’
