Alex Curran and Liverpool footballer Steven Gerrard jetted off to Miami last week ready to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.

The couple tied the knot a year ago today in a lavish ceremony at Cliveden House in Berkshire.

But Alex and Steven's romantic getaway is thought to have upset friends Wayne Rooney and Coleen McLoughlin as it meant they couldn't attend their 4-day wedding celebrations in Italy last week.

Alex, 25, and Steven, 28, are parents to Lilly-Ella, 4, and Lexie, 2.
