Singer strips off in the south of France

Lily Allen stripped off to enjoy the sunshine yesterday ahead of her visit to the Cannes Film Festival.

The singer was staying on the French Riviera with pals when she was spotted whipping off her bikini top.

‘Lily appeared happy to go topless, as many women in France do regularly when they are down by the beach,’ an onlooker tells the Daily Star.

‘She seemed to be having a swell time, relaxing with a cigarette, chatting on her mobile and generally enjoying the atmosphere.’

Lily, 23, is staying at the Hotel du Cap Eden-Roc, a favourite of A-list celebs including Katie Holmes, 29, and Tom Cruise, 45.

She's set to begin work on her second series of BBC3 chat show Lily Allen And Friends this summer.
