Happy 30th birthday, Kate Middleton! Kim Kardashian designs a pair of shoes in her honour

Kate Middleton turns 30 today - and she's received a special birthday message from Kim Kardashian to mark the occasion.

Reality star Kim has created a shoe in the Duchess of Cambridge's honour for www.ShoeDazzle.com and www.ShoeDazzle.co.uk.  

'I just wanted to wish the Duchess of Cambridge a really happy 30th birthday,' says Kim, 31, in a video on her YouTube channel.

'We here at ShoeDazzle have created a special shoe just for Kate...because her style, I love personally, and I think that every woman should feel like a princess every day.'

Despite rumours sister Pippa, 28, was planning an 80s-themed party, a palace official has confirmed Kate's birthday will be a 'low-key and private' affair.

'The Duchess of Cambridge is 30 today #happybirthday,' Tweets Clarence House.
